Meeting with Alvar Gonzalez-Palacios: "Memories of cities and people, in conversation with Federico De Melis". Alvar Gonzalez-Palacios, born in Santiago de Cuba in 1936, is an historian of decorative arts. He studied in Havana, Paris, Florence (here with Roberto Longhi); the main subject of his studies are the Courts of Europe between the seventeenth and nineteenth centuries. Federico De Melis, born in Rome in 1960, is a critical of ancient art. His studies are mainly based on the painting of the seventeenth and eighteenth century Italian. He is responsible for "Alias", cultural supplement of the italian newspaper "Il Manifesto".
